FAQ: Image and Project Views Explained

When you upload a Project, your images can be viewed as both part of the Project or individually as images in the Discover section.  Views are recorded separately for projects and images.  When viewing the detail page of an image or project, you can see the view count in the right column. In the thumbnail view, rolling over a thumbnail will also show you the view count.

CGarchitect receives many thousands of images each month, so to increase your view count and exposure, be sure to share your images on social media or with others.  Our system elevates images based on response (views, likes, comments) and image quality.  All of these things can affect your view counts as more users see your image.  Sometimes getting more people to see your image in the beginning, helps increase the popularity of your image so that you increase your changes it will stand out for the CGarchitect community.
